Kadow’s Meats

Two copies of a photo of Kadow’s Meats at 516 E. Main Street in Mishicot, Wisconsin.

From “Mishicot’s Meaningful Memories“:

In the forties Lee Kadow opened a meat market in the little building that handled small businesses over the years. Mr. Kadow had worked at the Scheuer Meat Market before opening his own business. After Kadow’s retirement the building be came a barber shop.

A brief history of the building was written for the Mishicot Heritage Walk:

This building had many different businesses over the years. For many years it was a shoe store run by Andrew Hayes. It was purchased by Lee Kadow in the 1940’s and became a meat market. Later the building was purchased by Melvin Staudinger and became a barber shop. Jodie Wavrunek purchased the shop from Mr. Staudinger.
