Ice Cutting — Mishicot, Wisconsin

Ice Cutting scenes presumed to be photographed on the East Twin River in Mishicot, Wisconsin. One photo was provided by Chris Baugniet. Another, originally clipped from a newspaper article, has this caption: “The next step is to chip the ice free. This is being done by George Lorenz who cross-cuts long strips into short sections, each weighing from 150 to 175 pounds.”
