History Odds and Ends
Telephone service began in Mishicot as a single phone connection to Manitowoc in stalled in a bar in about 1903. (This bar later became the Green Lantern.)
The first electric service provided about 55 residences and businesses in Mishicot with DC power generated at the local dam. It began on January 12, 1912.
